Is the photo of Najla El Mangoush with the Turkish president real?
Social media users circulated a picture of former Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla El Mangoush with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that turned out to be fabricated, and belonged to Erdogan with his wife.
It was circulated by users after it was published from a verified account, with the blue badge, of Al-Arabiya channel on Instagram, with a misleading title.
“El Mangoush shows up in a car next to Erdogan. Could it be true?!”
Al-Arabiya explained during the second paragraph of the publication that the image is fabricated.
With further research, we found that a number of platforms followed the same wording, including Al-Hadath channel, and the website of the American Al-Hurra channel.

Verification:
During the search, Falso team reached the original image published on the website of the Turkish presidency signed on April 3, 2023, during Erdogan’s trial of the “Togg” car, model “T10X”; the first Turkish-made electric car. Thus, the photo turned out to be old.
This allegation took place in light of the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla El Mangoush from her position by the National Unity Government, after the spread of news about her meeting with the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs in Italy.
Thus, this allegation is considered as disinformation.
